On Friday, April 24 Governor Whitmer relaxed some restrictions on outdoor activities for Michigan residents including golf, as part of the latest Executive "Stay Home" Order.

As such, Georgetown Country Club will open its golf/footgolf course with the following restrictions:

Among other requirements for play as listed below.

  • The golf course is temporarily open to 2020/21 MEMBERS ONLY. Please do not bring guests to your round of golf/footgolf until we are prepared to open to the public.
  • Please do not come to the course if you have not been feeling well. Be considerate of the health and well-being of other members.
  • To ensure social distancing, all members must schedule tee times for their rounds at the following link:
  • Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early for your round to avoid a gathering of people.
  • The Pro Shop will NOT be open or operating for the safety of our staff and membership. Please note that this means you will not have access to a restroom during your round.
  • The course will be maintained, but we are a little behind due to recent executive orders. We are excited to offer golf/footgolf to our members and apologize in advance for initial imperfect conditions. We are working hard to catch up.
  • No cart, club, or soccer ball rentals are available. Members must bring their own equipment and should not share equipment with other members.
  • Cups in the golf greens will be turned upside down, and players will "hole out" by hitting the cup with their ball.
  • Pins shall not be pulled during play to avoid hand-contact.
  • There will be no rakes in the bunkers. Players can play in the bunker with a preferred lie. We encourage foot raking of any shot to provide a better lie for the next group coming through.
  • There will be no garbage cans, water jugs, ball washers or benches on the course. Please bring a water bottle and take care of your garbage.
  • All rules for social distancing per the governors Executive Order 2020-59 must be followed. Please do not linger in the parking lot or at the Pro Shop before or after your round. If members are seen violating social distancing requirement, we will unfortunately be required to ask you to leave.

If you have any questions or concerns, or have difficulties making a tee time, please do not hesitate to reach out to General Manager Jeremie Lopez at
