What does it mean to become a member?  We offer a variety of membership categories that offer  full use of the facilities.  Please click on the link above for complete membership descriptions.

Do I have to live in Georgetown to be a member?  No!  We have members from all over Washtenaw County and beyond.

As a member, can I bring guests?  Yes – If you renew your membership before April 1st you are eligible for  5 complimentary guests passes. Additional passes may be purchased for the pool or tennis courts for $5 in the Pro Shop. Each guest is limited to 5 visits per season.  The golf course is open to guests; normal greens fees apply.  All guests must register at the Pro Shop.

Are there tee times for the golf course?  Yes – But typically, a tee time is not needed.  The course is semi-private and closes for leagues and events periodically.  We suggest you call ahead to check availability.

How do I become a member?  A current application must be completed and turned into the Pro Shop by mail, fax, or drop-off.  Memberships run April 1 – March 31 of every year.  You may join anytime during the summer.  Memberships are accepted on a rolling admission basis as spots are available.  Memberships are not pro-rated.  Each new member must pay the category applicable annual dues and the one-time initiation fee.

What is the one-time initiation/membership fee?  The 2013 initiation fee is $1,000 for all membership categories. With the Family Proxy Membership you can defer the initiation fee one year. Initiation fees can be paid in one lump sum payment or can be broken up over three years ($350 paid the first year, $350 paid the second year, and $300 paid the third year).

Who can use my family membership?  A family membership entitles member privileges to the membership holder and a spouse/significant other that has resided in the house hold for a minimum of 12 months.  All additional members listed on the application must be children that can be claimed as dependents, stepchildren, or individuals under legal guardianship of the membership holder or spouse/significant other.

Can my caretaker or babysitter bring my children to the facilities?  Yes – An accompaniment pass may be purchased by parents or guardians who would like to have their children utilize the facility when in the care of a babysitter or caretaker.  The accompaniment pass holder may not visit the facility when the parent/guardian is present or when not caring for the children. This pass can be purchased in the pro shop for $50.

What else do I need to know about becoming a member?  Credit card payments (Visa/Mastercard/Discover), checks and cash are accepted.  Annual dues and initiation fees are non-refundable.  All members MUST complete and return the original application each year.  Renewing members must have All applications in by March 31.  New members may join anytime.

What is the ‘refer a member’ program?   New members are always welcome.  Current members who recruit/refer new families who join Georgetown  receive a $100 credit to their account, that can be used towards dues, lessons, snack window food, or guest passes.
