Membership Means Community at GTCC
Georgetown Country Club (GTCC) was originally constructed with the surrounding neighborhood in 1970 by the Smokler Company, who later sold the club to a membership group. For nearly 50 years, GTCC has remained a member-owned and operated community fixture with membership open to all regardless of the neighborhood you call home.
GTCC celebrates the ideas of family fun, genuine friendship, and cooperative spirit within a relaxing, casual environment. The club’s swimming complex, golf and tennis venues, and recreational and competitive programming offer something for everyone, regardless of interests and age.
Summer is here and there’s no better time to escape the everyday with a GTCC membership!

GTCC Membership Types
Membership to GTCC is not limited by residency or neighborhood location—we have members from all over Washtenaw County! We offer several membership types to choose from based on your household’s size and needs.
|Membership Type||Annual Dues||Trial Rates|
|2-Person Senior Household (60+)||$770||$600|
|Senior Individual (60+)||$440||$340|
|Junior (after grade 8)||$440||$340|
Not sure if GTCC is the right "fit" for you or your family? Take a test drive. Trial memberships allow prospective members to "test" the GTCC experience at reduced rates while deferring the $1,000 member initiation fee for one year.
Disclaimer: Trial memberships are a one-time only perk per household per lifetime. Trial memberships expire at the same time as all other memberships on March 31. After use of the trial membership, prospective members must convert to full membership status to continue use of GTCC facilities, programs and services for the 2020 season.
Full membership status not only grants you access to the club’s facilities, programs and events, but you also receive voting rights, board privileges, and the opportunity to participate in various committees to help drive the vision, mission, and general programming of our neighborhood club.
A one-time initiation fee of $1,000 is required to convert to full member status. This initiation fee is payable in one lump sum or monthly installments over a 3-year period, in conjunction with your annual membership dues. Once the initiation fee is paid in full, it is not charged again unless you fail to pay annual dues and allow your membership to lapse. If you have extended travel plans or other obligations, our absentee membership will hold your status as a full member for one year, preserving your initiation fee.
Our annual membership renewal deadline is March 31. The club typically offers discounts and other bonuses for early renewal. A $75 late fee is applied to accounts that renew after the March 31 deadline.
